Space Environment and Remote Sensing

Space Lab

The SPACS Environment and Remote Sensing Laboratory is a well-equipped with state-of-the-art facility that supports both teaching and research activities in environmental sciences, geospatial analysis, and Earth observation. The laboratory provides advanced infrastructure for hands-on training and applied research in remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), environmental monitoring, and spatial data analysis.

The laboratory is equipped with modern hardware and specialized software for processing and analyzing satellite imagery, aerial data, and geospatial datasets. These resources enable students and researchers to conduct studies in land use and land cover mapping, climate and environmental change analysis, water and air quality assessment, natural hazard monitoring, and sustainable resource management.

The space laboratory also supports interdisciplinary research by integrating remote sensing and GIS with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and environmental modeling. The laboratory provides advanced infrastructure for hands-on training and applied research in remote sensing and GIS, environmental monitoring, and spatial data analysis.
